In our bachelor thesis we deal with the acoustics of wooden constructions and wood-based materials used for their construction. The work explains basic physical acoustic quantities and their levels. In the core of the work we describe the determination of the weighted airborne sound insulation used in construction to determine the sound insulation value. There are clearly presented values of air sound insulation of selected dividing structures using wood-based materials, where we can verify the requirements for sound insulation of building structures according to STN 73 0532 (2013), which are cited in the thesis. At the end of the thesis there is a theoretical calculation (prediction of airborne sound insulation of the selected dividing wall of the wooden building), with the help of a program for calculating airborne and step sound insulation of dividing constructions, whose airborne sound insulation value is compared with the value stated by required standard.
