The bachelor thesis in the area of furniture design deals with the issue of human coexistence with a pet - a dog. This interaction often occurs indoors and so the furniture itself can influence it to some extent. The question of whether and how the furniture element can reinforce or restrict the communication element has become the subject of the observation. The work is going through several thought streams, as several suggestions for the solution have been found. The result of this work is a deeper analysis of one selected issue with a concrete solution. The output is a furniture element of the seating type, designed for people of active age and also dog owners. It is mainly about people who have their daily routine set up and have a specific part of the day reserved for their dog. What can happen when a man and a dog meet at the same place? Oftentimes, there is a view as if directly on the stage of a play.
