The goal of my diploma thesis was to elaborate the static and dynamic analysis of the student residential building in London. It is a twenty one floor , monolitical reinforced concrete. The task of this work was to design and assest the main pillars of the building on the effects of vertical and horizontal loads. My aim was static calculation of the vertical reinforced wall in the axis 5 and axis 7 and static calculation of the Slab S2.1. These elements were designed and assesed for the limit state of violation and usability. The special model of the building was made in the student version of the program SCIA Engineer. This program allowed us to analyze the construction and the structural elements from multiple combinations of loads, to assess the effects of wind and seismicity and to calculate the internal forces and deformations.
