The Bachelor thesis aimed to analyze the Yrobot device, verify the functionality of basic components and propose suitable extensions with additional modules. Using sample examples, we compiled three programs in which we worked with drive units, buttons, potentiometers, optical reflection sensors, piezoelectric acoustic speakers and LED light diodes. Yrobot belongs to the modular platforms with many extensions available. By combining input and output modules, we can build devices such as a mobile weather station, a mobile detector of dangerous gases or a robot with autonomous movement in space.
