The purpose of bachelor thesis was to design a dance studio as the project for area management and urban planning. The given area is located in Bratislava Petržalka, in a proximity of water system (pond) Chorvátske rameno in Jantárová Street. Projected location is well attached to major transport junctions and directly connected with a watercourse. The property is situated on a partially slanting, elongated land that enables various options how to arrange the whole object. Under authority of urban scheme, the property is close to the area where the construction of a traction line is planned. There are individual buildings with recreational, medical and residential function. There is a hard straysurface in front of in front of the designed premises that is an organic part of connection between communication and promenade along Chorvátske rameno. Dance studio is supposed to be an establishment with recreational and cultural function that would be serving to the public. It provides commercial areas, dining premises, dancing spaces and parking. The entrance into the building is directed northerly and is architectonically highlighted by consoling of the second floor and glass wall that whites out the foyer. The universal dance-hall is illuminated by a direct daylight as well as artificial light. The daylight is arranged by belt and vertical windows, and along with a chosen facing lining, they are the main features of the architectonical solution of an object.
