Topic for my thesis, which I chose is a solution of Námestie Slobody. The aim was to design a new urban concept of the square and its surroundings and integrating new features. Námestie Slobody is a place of high value to the structure of the city, as well as high value in the historical series. As a direct relation with objects of Slovak Technical University, I decided to integret operation to replace the existing deficit features that are missing University. Another commitment was still available green alternatively, to the same extent it replaced. My goal was to find ways to all these features and operation incorporated into the existing space of one square. Námestie Slobody requires the creation of a living space for students, functionally designed so that it ensures full utilization of all potentials, even ordinary hours. My solution has become Digital library and object of Student Centre STU. The urbanism, in my opinion,is one of the most important aspects solve the traffic situation, which invalidates the current social function and degrades the quality of the square. In addressing the traffic I was looking for a way division operations so that they don't cross and collide with walking routes. I also decided to integrate into the design solution static traffic and suggesting mass of underground parking. Another priority was to preserve the concept park and square or Square filled with greenery. Because I think that Námestie Slobodv is the bearer of historical memory, this is what I have wanted to raise and maintain the proposal. The philosophy of design has become a linkinkg young people with each other, linking the new architecture with the existing square, maintaining openness and dominant, which is a fountain in the middle of the square. The idea is to preserve the substance of the square and the new architecture it's the only supplement that doesn't arouse attention, just naturally become familiar. They are more pavilions located in the green park with green areas, which only increases the value of the square, but do not stop living a passage in it. Therefore, the lower part is airy and open, with a transparent overlay. The shape of the breakdown structures only underscores the idea of openness and interconnection of space.
