SURANOVA, Monika: Design of a gas boiler source. [Diploma thesis]. Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. Faculty of Civil Engineering; Department of Building Services. Supervisor: doc. Ing. Daniela Koudelkova, PhD. Bratislava: Svf STU, 2018. Number of pages 68, number of attachments 5.The goal of the diploma thesis is the processing of realization project of a heat source – low pressure gas boiler source for a polyfunctional flat building. The proposed low pressure gas boiler room has installed power of 443,6 kW. During the design phase, I have aimed to find the most optimal solutions from the economical, ecological, technical or availability point of view. The proposed heat source with condensation boilers is designed in a way, that the final expenses for its installation would be the lowest possible. Condensation boilers excel in the low production of emission substances, which influence the environment significantly. The designed low pressure gas boiler source is situated on the first floor of flat building. Altogether, the heat source will supply 8 above the ground floors with heat and hot water. The heat source has been designed for connection power of 384,8 kW, value of which has been calculated based on the required heat power requirements to cover heat losses, for the heating of freshwater and the needs of compulsory venting. There will be 4 casing gas condensation boilers Viessman Vitodens 200, with the power of 110,9 kW at maximal load installed. Other devices, like safety devices, expansion bins and safety valves, thermohydraulic splitter, composite splitter and collector, bin heater, pumping devices, amatures and pipelines; have been designed with required technical requirements for the proper operation of the low pressure gas boiler room.
