Miloš Hitka , PhD. Zvolen: TU, 2020. Number of pages: 83 p. The aim of the diplom thesis is to monitor the development of teachers' motivation over a period of time. The diploma thesis consists of two parts. The first part is focused on the theory, where we focused on human resource management and motivation. The second practical part is devoted to the development of teachers' motivation over a period of time. First, we evaluated the completed questionnaires. The questionnaires were filled in by teachers from Slovakia and the number of respondents was 1069. Based on the created database from which we subsequently examined the data using the statistics program and worked out the results. We can say that in the required state, the most important factors are the atmosphere in the workplace, a good work team, basic salary, the approach of a superior and a fair evaluation of the employee. In the actual situation, we found that these are the factors of working time, work performance, content and type of work performed, a good work team and work environment. We monitored these motivational factors during the years 2015 to 2019. We investigated the effect of gender and age on individual motivational factors. Based on statistical research using t-test, HSD tests and ANOVI, we found that there are statistically significant differences between individual motivational factors of sexes and age categories.
