KOSTOLNÍKOVÁ, Michaela: Development of time motivation [Diploma thesis] – Technical university of Zvolen, Department of Business Economics. Supervisor of thesis: doc. Ing. Miloš Hitka, PhD. Zvolen: TU, 2020. 85 p. The aim of the diploma thesis is to compare the motivation of state administration employees and to find out whether there were significant differences in employee motivation in individual years and also whether there are differences between age categories and between age categories and gender. We analyzed the required and actual state of individual motivational factors. From the results we obtained, we found that within the required state, these motivating factors are important for employees, namely the basic salary, the atmosphere at the workplace, a good work team, the approach of a superior and other financial evaluation. As for the real situation, these are the motivating factors of the basic salary, further financial evaluation, safety at the workplace, psychological burden and development of the region. We analyzed the required and actual state of motivational factors also in the development of motivation over time and also in terms of age categories and gender. We found that there are statistically significant differences in the motivation of civil servants for individual years, except for the following motivational factors for the required situation: further financial evaluation, superior approach and basic salary, because there are no statistically significant differences between individual years. There are statistically significant differences between the individual age categories of state administration employees, except for the motivational factor of the atmosphere at the workplace (required condition), which means that there are no statistically significant differences between the age categories for this motivational factor. We also found that there are statistically significant differences between the sexes and individual age categories in the motivational factor of the superior approach for the desired state and in the motivational factor of the development of the region for the real state.
