The topic of my bachelor thesis was to propose a solution for the reconstruction of the Republic Square in Jelšava. I worked out urban-architectural study. I studied life in the city, people's activities, city planning and city urbanism. I have developed several analyzes to help me design my proposal. I focused on restoring life on the square. I accepted the existing morphology of the terrain, creating the form and shapes of existing objects, which make Jelšava a great historical significance. In the square and the narrow surroundings I brought new features with modern elements that do not disturb the existing state of the square. The square has a strong composition with views of the landscape.I brought into the square of activity that serves people of all ages. It also provides conditions for short-term social activities, such as markets, concerts.
