Miroslav Zvonek, ArtD.The aim of the bachelor thesis was to design a coffee machine, adapted to the small space of student dwellings, their interest in the quality and style of the products. The disadvantage of today's automatic coffee makers is their large size and high price. On the contrary, the advantage is simple control and minimal maintenance of the device. My goal is to bring this coffee maker to the life of young people who, most of all, to their important role, to successfully study, need a source of energy. My proposal is a full-automatic machine for preparing a genuine Italian espresso. It features a curved shape with rounded edges, giving it a compact yet elegant look. The design concept builds on a combination of standard and nonstandard elements. Material and color solutions adapt to the trend and revive space. This bachelor thesis assignment brought even more knowledge of coffee machines to my life. I also had the opportunity to apply all of my knowledge that has expanded on every consultation or read literature.
