ABSTRACT This thesis is a detailed elaboration of selected parts of the interior of the kindergarten. This work is a continuing of a Prediploma project (Studio III), where the complete/ overall appearance, functionality and usefulness of the building facade and external relations were solved. The thesis focuses on a modern and innovative interior design. We are using a combination of vibrant and vivid colors, hygienic materials. Furniture components are designed in the spirit according to ergonomic principles and standards for pre-school aged children. The aim was to create a full interior space with a particular focus on gifted/talented children as well as a wheelchair access and facilities throughout the building. Kindergarten has two classes of 15 children for the 3-4 year and 5-6 year olds. Class equipment is almost identical, with its own dressing room, game room, bedroom and toilet. The common space that everyone can use is a dining room and a creative room that can be used for smaller performances, entertainment and dirty work.
