The diploma thesis on the topic "In Folk Tone" focuses on the exterior and interior design of a craft house in the form of an extension of a tattoo studio to a residential house. The tattoo studio is designed for a specific tattoo artist whose work seeks inspiration in Slovak folk embroidery. The concept of the solution is based on a detailed analysis of folk architecture, housing of our ancestors and it also deals with the principle of locating craft houses. The draft includes the construct of the tattoo studio intended for a particular target group, people who visit this place and look for an alternative in a new type of craft in the form of a tattoo. The aesthetic character of the design solution lies in the visual materialization of traditional folk principles and at the same time brings the current character in the eclectic connection of materials, furniture and other furnishing elements.
