From the aspect of environmental psychology, the bachelor´s thesis focuses on the relationship between crime and the environment, especially on the positive impact of green in reducing crime. This bachelor thesis also focuses on some causes and motives that lead people to change behaior due to visual effect of green. It descripes crime as a negative anti-social phenomenom that we encounter most often in cities. In terms of prevention, in evaluates greenery as a possible alternative to reducing crime. The bachelor´s thesis also presents the of a questionnaire survey, the aim of which is find out what is the current state of awareness of respondents about the issue. The queationnaire survey focuses on how people percieve greenery in their surroundings or in the cities.
