This bachelor thesis deals with lifestyle of young people born at the end of the last century- millennials. This generation differs from previous generations by the way of life. Millennials are interested in modern technologies, environment, art and so on. These interests are also reflected in the way of living and requirements for housing. This thesis studies their requirements for modern and smart city living, which is inseparable part of their life. They were born in the city, grew up in the city and they are living in the city, not interested in giving up on its advantages. This thesis works with small house concept built on unused site, known as brownfield, located near city center. This site is also close to important, architectonic city buildings, which became topic of this interior. The interior is inspired by functionalist architecture of Zilina as the most prominent architectonic style in this city. In the interior dominates interest in art, architecture and new requirements for housing needed by millennials.
