Valéria Messingerová CSc. 120 p.The content of the Diploma thesis is Wood concentration technology in the Rye Island area regarding to Gabčíkovo forest administration. We present forms, history, current situation as well as technological typing of wood concentration in Slovakia, depending on literary sources. The next part is about specification of interest area, Gabčíkovo forest administration. We used test surfaces to suggest different harvesting forms, using different technologies and work methodics in Rye Island area. Then we used acquired technology and work methodics in Danube flood area. Subsequently we statistically processed last 10 years management data of Gabčíkovo forest administration. Than we also compared processed data of intentional care harvesting and renewal intentional harvesting until 50 years of poplar forest age. Then we evaluated data from amount of harvested wood, costs, amount of harvesting, ratio of assortments and approaching distance. We also evaluated different technologies depending on harvest type, costs and their power. For better overview about management we compared our economic, ecologic and technical data with comparable data from abroad area, concretely Kisalföldi Erdőgazdaság Zrt. forest administration. We suggest solution to increase of environmental measures effectiveness in Rye Island area. The results are documents and photo materials for practical examples in forestry practices.
