The research was done during the nesting periods of birds from 2017 to 2019. The area of exploration was situated in the mountain Javorníky (village Veľké Rovné). It began in the part Veľké Rovné Ústredie 14 and finished in the part of Veľké Rovné Ivor. We were reasearching the bird' s population and its year–round dynamics for three years. Then we compared gained results. There were found 44 bird species of the experimental area of 62, 8 ha. The Summation of birds was done on 20 samples twice a nesting period. The birds were counted with point method. Registered number of bird species was 44. The average density was 55, 2 p/10 ha. Beacause of the relatively low values of decisive divergence and the coefficient variation, we considered that interannual variability is low.We identified two eudominate species Fringilla coelebs and Sylvia atricapilla. This species of Fringilla coelebs reached a maximum dominance value (18,46 %) with an average dominance value of 16,26 %. However, the species Emberiza citrinella reached a maximum dominance value of 1,85 %, making it included in the recedent class. It is a pity that its average value of dominance was only 0,88 %.This exploration presents the first complex overview of bird's grouping in this rural area. This master's thesis can be used for further research, discovery of species richness – diversity, abundance and habitat of researched species.
