In the theoretical part of our work, we focused on defining a forest fire, its type, the causes of these fires and also the statistics of forest fires in Slovakia and abroad. We also dealt with the organization of fire brigades for forest fires in Slovakia and for forest fires in selected foreign countries. At the end of the theoretical part, we approached the types of water transports in forest fires and their detailed description. Our bachelor thesis aims to identify the most commonly used technical resources that are used in HaZZ and DHZO for the transport of water in forest fires and to evaluate the effectiveness of using these technical resources in water transport to fight forest fires. In the thesis we deal specifically with the use and description of the parameters of this firefighting technique. We are also working on an approach of cooperation in forest firefighting between DHZO and HaZZ.
