The aim of the bachelor thesis was to evaluate hunting economy in breeding units of the Zvolen district in accordance with the valid hunting legislation. The issue is focused mainly on the zoning of the hunting area of Slovakia, hunting planning, principles of rearing and hunting cloven-hoofed game, breeding visit and his importance. The results of the work provide comprehensive information on the total loss of cloven-hoofed game in the district of Zvolen for the past hunting season. In the next step, the implementation of rearing goals of hunting subjects in the Zvolen district was evaluated and subsequently confronted with the main principles of rearing in accordance with age management. In bachelor thesis, we evaluated the loss of cloven-hoofed game due to reported deaths; decline of young deer’s by sex as well as an evaluation of the implementation of the approved hunting plans in terms of time according to calendar months.
