Abstrakt v anglickom jazykuThe diploma thesis deals with fire and acoustic properties of materials that are used to fill noise barriers. The main goal of the diploma thesis was to find out whether recycled textile is suitable as a filler in the construction of noise barriers with regard to commercially used materials. The conducted comparison of the tested materials' properties identified the suitability of the materials in terms of the acoustic and fire protection. Three types of materials were tested - recycled textiles, mineral wool and expanded polystyrene, of which two are commonly used to fill noise barriers. In order to compare the properties of the tested materials, we quantified the coefficient of sound absorption of the materials. We also obtained the results of the radiant heat source test and the reaction to fire test of the tested materials.
