The main topic of the bachelor's thesis is to get acquainted with and get acquainted with the means that the intervening members use to protect the respiratory tract and body. The work also focuses on the anti-gas service, which deals with these devices, keeps them in an actionable and healthy state, keeps the prescribed documentation. The first thing the work deals with are self-contained breathing apparatus, their use, advantages and disadvantages in use, are also mentioned respirators will remain, however, which are impractical for fire brigades, unusable or are already obsolete and replaced by newer types, either in terms of construction, weight, short life or are not suitable for individual intervention activities performed by fire brigades. For illustrative comparison, the most used types of self-contained breathing apparatus at this time were selected, namely vacuum Saturn S7 and overpressure Dräger PSS 3000. Another main point is protective suits their division use during intervention and characteristics and method of use in firefighting practice together and ADP in the event of an intervention with the suspicion of the presence of a dangerous substance. We have developed its organizational structure when and where it is set up, what its tasks are. We also focused on the means of the anti-gas service on the deadlines for inspections and tests and the documentation that must be kept with the assigned means.
