The subject of the thesis is the project of a multi-storey hotel based on cross laminated timber (CLT), derived from a selected pre-existing architectural solution. The theoretical part of the thesis describes timber building systems for multi-storey buildings, the concept and requirements for ultra-low energy buildings and the properties of CLT. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the design of an ultra-low energy hotel based on CLT and its structural composition. The practical part also reviews thermo-technical and acoustic properties, soundproofing and fire protection of mentioned hotel. The result of the thesis is the creation of the whole drawing guidance to receive a building permit.
