This diploma thesis deals with the theory of organisational structures and the analysis of progress of the organisational structure within the government-owned corporation, LESY SR. Thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical part based on professional literature that deals with term of organisation within management, process of organising in a company, theory of organisational structures, classical and modern means of organising business. The practical part of this thesis deals with above mentioned government-owned corporation. First part characterise the internal corporate culture, the goals of business activities made by the company but also describes selected economic indicators. Subsequently, this thesis describes the development of organisational structures within the company since its establishment in 1999. For a better understanding of development of organisational structures, a relatively large part is devoted also to the current form of business management. This thesis contains our proposed improvements to the organisational structure, which can be submitted to the company.
