This diploma thesis deals with the design of a new supporting structure of the winter stadium in Banská Bystrica. The first chapter contains a theory that generally describes truss constructions and their use. The practical part contains the calculation of loads on the structure, static calculation and assessments of key elements and joints of the structure.
