The bachelor’s thesis presents the results of the financial analysis of the financial statements of the company IVJ, s.r.o (Ltd.). The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of the selected company and predict its future development through selected methods of financial analysis, namely ex-post and ex-ante and to propose appropriate measures on the basis of the findings in order to ensure the desired future development of the financial situation in the company. In theoretical aspects, the thesis defines the information elements of the financial analysis, which are the principles, objectives, users, sources of information sources, methods and indicators of the financial analysis. In the practical part of the thesis, the financial and economic analysis of the selected company for the years 2014 - 2017 is conducted via the methods of ex-post and ex-ante control. The final part of the bachelor´s thesis includes an evaluation of the achieved results and a proposal of appropriate measures for the company to eliminate the possible risks and avoid a negative financial development.
