The aim of the work is to summarize the knowledge, based on the collected literature, about the influence of weather and meteorological conditions and the possibility of fire in the open and give a description of a specific case. The work is divided into 6 chapters. It contains 4 tables and 6 figures. In the first chapter we described the atmosphere of the earth and meteorological conditions. In the second we characterized the possible causes of the fire. In the third part we described the basic terms and definitions of combustion and combustible set. In the fourth part, we described open fires The next chapter entitled "Influence of climatic conditions on the control of fires in open spaces" we dealt with meteorological elements that affect the spread of fires in open spaces. The last chapter was focused on a demonstration of a specific case in the village of Dlhé nad Cirochou. We have fulfilled the goal and the result of the work is that the work can serve as a basis for basic concepts for the analysis of fires in the open and for their elimination.
