Andrea Sujová, PhD., Graduate academic degree (Ing.), Zvolen, 2019The aim of this diploma thesis is to introduce the basic theoretical knowledge scheme in the area of management with emphasis on the importance of change management, management of people in crisis situations with the aim to increase the work performance and on the basis of them to propose the process of management activity in the company Poštová banka, a. s., in the Banská Bystrica region. The stated goal is also the structure of work, which is divided into two basic parts. The first part introduces theoretical knowledge in management, crisis management, change management, managerial work and its decision-making and focuses more on people management. In the second part, we analyze the sales results of the Poštová banka, a. with. and its subsidiaries, and discuss the performance of individual employees and prepare an operational change plan to resolve business emergencies. In this sense, we consider the goal of the thesis to be fulfilled.. The main significance of the submitted thesis is to demonstrate the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice and to create a case study based on this knowledge on specific company.
