The aim of my diploma thesis was to study the literature, working procedures to determine the coefficient of soil structure, select and then use the applied methodology in practice using a rotary screening device MATEST A 060-01. After taking samples from NPR Havešová, we had to dry the soil at room temperature, sieve, weigh and based on the obtained results calculate the soil structure coefficient for each sample. After calculating the soil coefficient, we had to classify soil samples as structurally favorable or unfavorable according to individual intervals. From our results, we found that the samples from NPR Havešová are all structurally stable and the rotary screening device is effective for this research.
