Zvolen: Technical University of Zvolen, 2021. 73s The aim of the thesis is to analyze the sale and demand of wood in the entity Forest Community of Štiavnik. At the beginning of the work in the chapter on the issue, we defined important deadlines in the area of trade and the timber market. Within this part of the work we defined the quality qualification of wood mass according to Slovak technical standards STN 48 0055 and 48 0056 from 2007 and according to European standards STN EN 1927 and STN EN 1316. Within the framework of the issue, we have mentioned important actions in the field of the marketing of wood mass. At work, we also listed the ways in which wood mass is sold and its essentials. The main objective of the work was to analyze the trade and marketing of raw wood assortments for the period 2015-2019 and the secondary objectives were aimed at collecting information on trade and the market in timber and on the entity Forest Community of Štiavnik. The last objective was to analyze prices and supplies. In the methodology we characterized the entity Forest Community Štiavnik. The aforementioned Forest Community of Štiavnik provided us with overviews of average prices and volumes of wood mass, which we subsequently compared with non-state actors. In the results section, we analyzed the data of the subjects using graphs. We analysed the volumes of supply to the market and the monetised average prices of the raw wood assortments marketed by the entity. We compared this data with non-state actors. . In the results, we found that the entity Forest Community of Štiavnik supplied the largest volume of coniferous cutouts to the market during the period under review in 2019, with an average monetised price of 64.41 €/m3, deciduous cutouts in 2017 with an average monetized price of 40.68 €/m3, fiber wood in 2015 with an average monetized price of 48.97 €/m3 and firewood in 2016 with an average monetized price of 35.86 €/m3. Non-State actors supplied the largest volumes of coniferous and deciduous cutouts in 2018 with an average price of 65.58 €/m3 and 69.66 €/m3 over the projection period, 2017 with an average price of 36.43 €/m3 and firewood in 2019 with an average price of 31.60 €/m3.
