The bachelor thesis deals with the formulation of economic reasons why and how to be a socially responsible company. The work is divided into four chapters. The first chapter focuses on the theoretical definition and clarification of the concept of socially responsible business. The second chapter introduces us to socially responsible business in the Slovak Republic. In the third and fourth chapters we deal with the aims of the work and the methodology of the work. The fifth chapter introduces us to the researched company Forests of Slovak republic, a state enterprise and their actions within the framework of social responsibility. And in the sixth chapter it deals with the analysis of socially responsible business in a selected forest enterprise, Forests of Slovak republic, a state enterprise, where it focuses on socially responsible behavior, as well as on individual indicators of socially responsible business. Using selected indicators, the economic impact of socially responsible business in the state enterprise Forests of Slovak republic is subsequently analyzed in terms of costs.
