The aim of my bachelor thesis was to design a car showroom with car service at Ivánska road in Bratislava. This locality is currently used only a little, where logistics centre plays the main functional role. On this land we can find small businesses, including kindergarten, which position is not suitable, because of the nearby railway and busy road. I endeavoured to use this location and all its advantages for the design showroom, so that the site is more attractive to a wider audience, offer interesting insights and create a new landmark in Ivánska road. The rounded shapes of roofs and facades evoke the movement and dynamics associated with the automotive world. Glass facades offer views into the building, but also from within to the natural environment. Showroom, which forms main parts, is also the most significant. Building continues smoothly with back office showroom, connected with in one matter and whole tricuspid composition is completed by a service room, which is located in the background, but is sufficiently visible thanks to the material and colour distinction. The proposed building tries to respect an environment in which it is located, but also offer a new aesthetic and functional value.
