The task of this thesis was to design the reconstruction of the square miners Roznava. Roznava is one of the most historically significant cities in Slovakia, which is historically protected the medieval square with many historical monuments. A place that was once a center of mining and developing craft. Today, this city has lost its magic and my work is about trying to restore this. The area is attractive to its original symbolism represented by the symbols of mining. These symbols are shown in the coat of arms of the city, I became an inspiration when designing the reconstruction of a given square. The crest of the displayed three roses representing the ore mined around gold, silver and copper. The roses I have gradually streamlined and transformed into a geometric square. Square is also typical of medieval type square square. The basic geometric shape has become a basic theme of my proposed solution to the reconstruction. The squares gradually I filmed and directed to various monuments and squares. These protected sites include: a monument with a bust of Frances Andrassy, the Roman Catholic Church of St. Francis Xavier, plague column, the building of the Franciscan monastery where it belongs Church of St. Anne. In the square there are many other historically significant sites. Shooting a square slider outwards from the square, I also wanted to attract people passing from side streets in the city center - the square. The site, which became the "energy" and cultural center Roznava. The area is also divided into several functional parts as part of the social, cultural, relaxing and entertaining. The parts are mixed to form a place that becomes a gem mining town center Roznava.
