Goal of the bachelor thesis was to design music pavilion which fit development in the area next to Štrkovecké jazero in Ružinov suburban area of Bratislava. The thesis includes concepts of layout plan, operation plan and construction solution of the first part of complex architectural study. My proposition attempts to support potentials of the area. Exposed area with high numbers of visitors requires such an object which is opened and enabled to communicate with its surroundings. Therefore my proposition of the music pavilion is situated in such way that it does not create any barrier but instead acts as passing public parterre of the first overground floor. Similarly by its mass (two overground floors) the object fits altitude profile of buildings in its neighbourhoods. The concept's philosophy is four elements reflecting elementariness of music which are demonstrated in four masses of the object and at the same time they represent particular functional blocks. The music pavilion as atypical building comprises primary spaces for music, i.e. concert hall, musical and theoretical classrooms of various types and sale of music instrument and ancillary spaces as café and administration which, in this project, are connected by atrium. The second part of the thesis is provided in the form of construction project for construction management with coordinates and situation solutions of utilities. Architectural details of the building are also provided with detailed solution of realization plan.
