The objective of the assignment was to design an art gallery associated with the operation of the restaurant. A designation gallery offers several interpretations. Essential for this work is the definition of the gallery as a space dedicated to the display of works of art. Today's understanding of this object was undoubtedly influenced by history, as the concept gallery once marked the long corridors intended for celebrations or displaying art collections, which had an impact on the architecture and operation of the proposed building. One of the requirements was to connect two different sites in a single functional unit, while preserving their independence. Relaxed layout of exhibition space along with an open entrance hall look airy and easy, leaving the possibility of installing variable individual exhibitions. The building, by its glazed facade, responds to the surroundings of Štrkovec Lake next to which it is located. Thus leaving passers guess its contents. Along with terraces allowing to exhibit sculptures not only in the surrounding countryside, but also in elevated exterior surfaces, visually and operationally connects the interior with the exterior, which attracts potential visitors.
