The purpose of the bachelor thesis was to design Galery, which will completed the installation Strkovec lake in Bratislava . The proposed facility will be incorporated into high-rise buildings in the area by its proportions , and should not exceed three floors. According to mater pland of the capital city Bratislava should be accoplished the requirement not to propose equipment that would requiree high concentration of visitors. Master plan envisages a mixed area with a predominant residential functions , the floor area amenities shall not exceed 30 % of the total floor area of the building above ground. It was also necessary to deal with the green areas , parking areas , water supply and connection to the transport network in the desired location. Functional regulative framework recommended in the 1st floor situate entrances and reception , changing rooms for visitors gallery space divided into permanent and variable exhibitions , underground parking dimensioned according to the size and the number of galleries in the restaurant. Based on the analysis , I found that the area has a large number of schools , and so I decided to integrate within the galleries feature art school functionally linked to the gallery. The building also include a restaurant with a separate entrance. Underground parking consists of one underground floor. In order to maintain perspective and good light conditions of the apartment building adjacent land with a solution , I decided to matter which direction from south to north high- rises up to the 3rd floor , and thus remains sufficiently sunlit apartment building with well -preserved view. The aim was also to solve the attractiveness of the overhead garage in the land. This was achieved by using of the clad that connects upstream parterre apartment building and gallery . The clad covered garaged and enable connection of residential buildings with a gallery where art school was located , created green areas and also conceal the economic inputs to the gallery. The proces of designing the galleries was focused mainly on the attractiveness of the building , recovery and preservation of open space, and conservation a certain identity of a place . These conditioning factors are reflected in the shaping of matter in 3 overlapping spirals , with a certain disposition meaning and atrium , glazed galleries of the main pedestrian oriented line , the creation of green areas and the square in front of the gallery and the use of concrete materials . Work includes mass and layout of the proposal galleries with due regard to standards and technical regulations . Finally managed to design an interesting shaped object that offers relaxation , artistic experience and services appropriate for the site .
