The main objective of the restoration Kmeťov square - to improve its functionality , spatial restore freshness and invigorate the place with new elements . Currently is park on the square with devastated benches and a view of the parking dormitory,which hiding the view of the church . Firstly, the reconstruction of the square , I focused on static traffic that surrounds the whole square and does not articulate the entire area of the square . This space I freed from passing cars on the Bernolak street. Parking is provided in the periphery of the square. I suggested the stacker parking at residential homes . For students dormitory was necessary to create a separate underground garages . My priority was to unify the church parking space and park and create a harmonious space for people to meet , active participation in social life as well as a relaxation area where you can listen to birdsong . The problem with this square was a park overgrown with vegetation seeding , which had to be removed . After consultation with landscape architect , we concluded that it is necessary to plant new trees and leave only a few of the original . I put great emphasis on open space , the interpretation of the church in the square , recovery through new elements . The analysis showed the problems that I took into account in its proposal and determine the structure of the premises .
