The aim of this work is to develop a proposal for the revitalisation and humanisation of public space in Bratislava - Krasňany. Planning area is an internal pedestrian path leading between residential buildings in Krasňany settlement with grassland and high vegetation. The territory, however, suffers from several shortcomings, such as landscaped and technical elements in a poor functional and aesthetic condition. Comprehensive proposal eliminates these gaps creating a complete harmony and pleasant residential environment for its users. Text section contains a theoretical introduction dedicated to the issue of revitalisation and humanisation of public living spaces at home and abroad, and then it compares these approaches. Further text section describes the drawings in a graphical part, which are divided into headings: A1 - analytical part, A2 - architectural and landscaping solutions B - construction project. The analytical part discusses the current state of the area and recovers its problems and potentials. Architectural and landscaping solutions contains the design which eliminates the problems and creates a concept of landscaped and architecturally valuable space with new opportunities for rest and recreation. Construction project describes the detailed technical design solution and landscaping. The end result is a comprehensive architectural and landscaped proposal to create a welcoming, harmonious residential environment for its users. Introducing new playground equipment or components of furniture creates incentives for social interaction of residents and coherent concept of technical and natural elements in the area providing urban dweller pleasant stay in touch with nature .
