Our bachelor thesis deals with the impact of current changes in the Labour Code in connection with the payment of surcharges, it means wage surcharges to wages, to employers selected by us. The aim of the thesis was: to point out to the impact of current legislative changes in paying surcharge to employees effective from 1 May 2018 on the effectiveness of the company, based on the results of the analysis in the financial management of the selected company. The bachelor thesis was divided into several parts. In the first part we focused on the elaboration of theoretical bases for the researched issue, in the next we set goals and suitable methodology of work, and in the practical part we introduced the subjects who provided the necessary information including wage surcharge to us. Then we compared the financial and economic situation of the companies, in connection with the payment of various types of surcharges before and after legislative changes of the Labour Code, and then we analysed the way of planning the financial means of companies, which should help the employer with pay the wage surcharge to employees even after the changes in Labour code. In the conclusion and the most important part of bachelor thesis, we focused on elaboration for specific proposal for better efficiency in company then before, and creation of a financial reserve for observance the provisions of the current form of the Labour Code for the management of selected subjects.
