In the diploma thesis we focused on the complex evaluation of the financial health of the company by means of financial-economic analysis. In the theoretical part we have introduced the concepts of financial-economic analysis, its importance, the procedure for performing the analysis and the evaluation of the results. The main aim of the thesis was to evaluate the financial health of the company and to identify the strengths and weaknesses of financial management using selected methods of financial-economic analysis for the period under review. Based on the findings, conclusions and recommendations for improving the financial situation of the company were formulated. After introducing the company, we conducted vertical and horizontal analysis. Subsequently, we analyzed the ratio indicators in the analytical part. The partial aim of the thesis was to carry out ex ante financial analysis, t. j. forecast of future development. The final part was devoted to the evaluation of the results and the preparation of proposals and recommendations for the future. The financial and economic analysis helped us analyze the company on the basis of the financial statements, profit and loss statements and economic results for the six-year reference period.
