Abstract Dolník Michal: Forests Pro Silva'sbuilding Počúvadlo in reconstructioninto a mosaicstructure [Bachelorthesis] –TechnicalUniversity in Zvolen, Faculty of Forestry, Supervisor of bachelorthesis: Prof. dr. Ing. Milan Saniga DrSc. Degree of professionalqualification: bachelor, in short "Bc.". Elected HERE, 2021. Number of pages: The bachelor thesis comprises a description of silviculture practices applied in accordance with the principles of Pro Silva. Application of these principles should result in the permanent, stable forest stand composed of native tree species - a permanently generating forest. The basis of this silvicultural system is the application of individual resp. clustered selection. In the case of originally mixed forest ecosystems, which are typical for the demonstration object Pro Silva ‘Počúvadlo’, it will be necessary to ensure mixing already in small partial plots (cluster selection), in order to sustain growth relationships among tree species and balanced stand and environmental relationships. To shape the forest not on whole area, but spatially split with a suitable distribution of tree species within the production available space of the stand according to the light requirements of tree species, with an orientation to the best possible use of the production potential of the habitat and growing space of forest ecosystems. In addition to the theoretical part, the bachelor's thesis provides evaluation of the stand diameter structure and the regeneration processes, which were obtained by measuring corresponding characteristics on the established permanent research plots (PRP).
