The diploma thesis deals with the issue of grasslands in the cadastral area of the village Čerín. Besides it offers the results of contemporary grassland management according to the evaluation of agrochemical indicators (such as soil reaction, the content of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and magnesium), carbonates, soil moisture and some chosen physical features of soil condition. The obtained results are proposed for evaluating habitat conditions and can lead to management actions that may affect the protection and sustainability of these habitats. The research was held from September and November 2018 to April 2019. The habitat was the part of Mičiná 1805/1 that is located between the cadastral areas of Bečov and Čerín. This habitat belongs to the category D – Hygrophilous plants in lowlands. Slightly acid up to neutral soil reaction was identified in this area, the contents of Ntot. were from 0,91 to 2,27 g.kg-1 which meet the standards in the range from 0,091 to 0,227%. According to agrochemical standards, the low content of phosphorus was identified in the soil and the low content of potassium was significant. The content of available calcium at the individual sampling points was according to the agrochemical aspects very high. The content of Mg was very high due to the agrochemical standards. The contents of the carbonates were very low in every examined area. During the months of research, the soil moisture differs.
