Zvolen: 2019. 35 p.This bachelor thesis is elaborated as a theoretical study oriented on hazards and risks related to leakage of chemical substances containing sulfur. Main goal was reached by dividing the content of thesis to particular goals. First step was to generally characterize physical and chemical nature of sulfur, afterwards it's usage and history. Second step was to characterize its compounds, which we include in combustion products of materials containing sulfur, and other chosen compounds which present danger for human organism or are dangerous for environment. Chemical compounds were evaluated by their usage and toxicity. Later were described first aid procedures for firefighters after exposure during intervention and for public during occasional leakage. In final sections of thesis, accidents including leakage of sulfur resulting in public and environmental thread are given as example.
