The topic of the diploma thesis is the negative effect of ungulates wild animals on the forest stands of Levice. The object of the research is damage caused by the ungulates animals, analysis of the development of damage to forest stands of the Slovac republic caused by the ungulates animals, an overview of the methods of preventive protection of forest stands, the evaluation of their effectiveness, respectively. their positive and negative sides. The aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of repellent use, the installation of an ordinary fencing in comparison with an electric fencing, and proposals for forestry practice.
