In my master thesis I focus on measuring importantce of deadwood on chosen physical and chemical properties of soil, microbiotic biomass and activity of soil microorganisms. We analysed data on base of their basal reaction to soil respiration in natural beech ecosystems. Soil samples were gatherd in Albania, Romania, Ukraine and Italy. They were collected in different altitude. Dug holes were situated in pairs in same localities one under deadwood and another on place without deadwood. Laboratory work consisted of estimating physical and chemical properties and monitoring on their basal respiracy and microbial biomass. After determining correlation we find out significant importance of carbon and nitrogenon increasing microbial biomass. Responds of soil samples on basal respiracy were minimal. We also confirmed importance of deadwood coherency with acumulating of organic mass and as factor which significantly affect forest soil.
