The aim of this work is the design of a device for pressing filter elements in the production of the so-called Candle filter, which is used for bypass filtration of motor or hydraulic oils. It is the development of pressing equipment in cooperation with the company ECOFIL, spol. s.r.o. At the beginning of the work, we set the goals of the work and created a solution algorithm. In the theoretical part, we describe the materials used to produce filter elements. Next, we deal with oil filtration, we describe the types of oil systems and oil filters. We divide pressing machines according to the mechanism and according to the structural frame. In the practical part, we describe the proposed variants, which we evaluated, according to the requirements and their degree of importance. We then worked out the most suitable variant. We have created a 3D model and drawing documentation of the pressing device. A FEM analysis of the structural frame was made, and calculations were carried out, checking the correctness of the dimensions of the designed components. The designed single-purpose device is made as a prototype and tested before being put into operation.
