The master’s thesis deals with the design of a device for crushing of garden products, which is intended for further processing. The first and second chapters describe the objectives of the thesis and the design requirements from several perspectives. The following chapters present the theoretical part, which deals with the analysis of the current market situation, the types of crushers available for domestic use, the classification of transmissions and drives, and other parts of the design. In the conclusion, a structural design of the machine with the necessary calculations, static structural and modal analysis of the structure by finite element method (FEM), and an assessment of the results and project in terms of price are presented.
