This work deals with the design of a composite protective structure for the crew of an electric vehicle Modulo. At the beginning of the work is an analysis of the current state of protective structures of various vehicles and their safety and ergonomic requirements. Furthermore, composite materials with a focus on carbon composites are described in this section. In the practical part of the work, three design proposals were created based on the specified requirements, one of which was chosen as the most optimal solution. This solution has been adapted for both chassis. The protective structure was subjected to FEM analysis. Finally, a technical and economic assessment of the structure was made.
