Popisujem v nej hodnotenia množstva hustoty minerálov v kostiach a hustoty kostného tkaniva. V práci sa taktiež zaoberám hodnotením významu diagnostiky osteoporózy z hľadiska prevencie a komplikácii. V teoretickej časti popisujem anatómiu driekových stavcov, bedrového kĺbu, kosti predlaktia a diagnostiku pomocou röntgenového žiarenia. Zaoberám sa princípom vyšetrenia, štandardnými postupmi a prípravou pacienta pred samotným vyšetrením. V praktickej časti popisujem a porovnávam dosiahnuté výsledky, ktoré som získala počas kazuistík.

The aim of the thesis was to determine the effectiveness of rehabilitation and the impact of the disease on the quality of life of patients with this disease. Based on the four hypotheses set, which concerned the physical limitations of patients in everyday activities, the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs, age, and duration of the disease, a quantitative research was conducted. The research was carried out using a questionnaire filled out by 100 respondents - patients with multiple sclerosis. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data. The results of the research show that comprehensive rehabilitation positively affects the quality of life of patients, improves physical condition and contributes to the improvement of the mental health of patients. Pacienti podstúpili dvojtýždňovú fyzioterapeutickú liečbu v Národnom ústave reumatických chorôb v Piešťanoch, pričom boli sledované ich klinické zlepšenia v oblasti pohyblivosti, bolesti, fyzickej kondície a psychického stavu. FyzioterapiaThe bachelor's thesis focuses on the role of physiotherapy in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, a chronic autoimmune disease that causes joint inflammation and limits patients in their daily activities. The main objective of the thesis is to investigate the effectiveness of various physiotherapy techniques and rehabilitation procedures in improving the quality of life and functional abilities of patients suffering from this disease. In the theoretical part, the thesis is devoted to a comprehensive explanation of rheumatoid arthritis as a disease, its diagnosis and conventional treatment options. The practical part includes a case study of three patients in whom various physiotherapy methods were used, such as active, passive exercises, mobilization techniques, exercises aimed at improving the range of motion, as well as the use of physical therapy. The patients underwent a two-week physiotherapy treatment at the National Institute of Rheumatic Diseases in Piešťany, and their clinical improvements in the areas of mobility, pain, physical condition and psychological state were monitored. The findings show that physiotherapy has a significant and positive impact on improving patients' functional status and reducing symptoms associated with rheumatoid arthritis.

The theoretical section provides an overview of breast cancer, one of the most common indications for mastectomy. In addition, it provides insight into the mastectomy itself, potential complications after surgery and additional oncological treatment, along with the subsequent role of physiotherapy. In the methodology, both investigative and therapeutic procedures are described. The research analyzes the significance and influence of selected physiotherapy methods on individual patients.

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the impact of kinesiotherapy on the correction and prevention of incorrect movement patterns and postural errors, which can lead to long-term orthopedic and functional problems. The theoretical part describes in detail the basic principles of kinesiotherapy, physiological aspects of correct posture, as well as the most common postural errors in children. In the practical part, we will focus on the analysis of specific therapeutic methods, such as specific exercises, massages, therapeutic techniques and evaluate their effectiveness based on clinical cases and measuring progress in the area of ​​posture and motor skills of children. The work also explores the importance of early diagnosis and prevention in childhood to avoid more serious postural problems in adulthood. The work consists of two parts. In the first part, we deal theoretically with the general anatomy of the cervical spine, including bones, muscles, tendons and ligamentous connections, kinesiology of the cervical spine, and a detailed kinesiological and biomechanical analysis of movement. In the practical part, we present case studies of patients with functional disorders in the cervical spine and their subsequent therapy, and tables comparing the beginning of therapy and the end of therapy. We will apply manual therapy in the cervical spine, compensatory exercises, PIR, exercises to strengthen individual muscle groups, special methodologies and ergotherapy. In the next practical part, the results of a questionnaire aimed at solving the issues in the given topic will be published.Vo svojej diplomovej práci sa zaoberáme vybranými postupmi u pacientov s funkčnými poruchami krčnej chrbtice pri práci za počítačom. Práca pozostáva z dvoch častí. V prvej časti sa zaoberáme teoreticky všeobecne anatómiou krčnej chrbtice ako sú kosti, tak aj svaly, šlachy a väzivové spojenia, kineziólogiou krčnej chrbtice, podrobným kineziologickým a biomechanickým rozborom pohybu. V praktickej časti uvádzame kazuistiky pacientov s funkčnými poruchami v oblasti krčnej chrbtice a ich následnú terapiu a tabuľky s porovnaním začiatku terapie a konca terapie. Budeme aplikovať manuálnu terapiu v oblasti krčnej chrbtice, kompenzačné cvičenia, PIR, cvičenia na posilnenie jednotlivých svalových skupín, špeciálne metodiky a ergoterapiu. The practical part consists of evaluating the effect of the selected therapeutic method applied to a precisely determined type of diagnosis in given patients. Súčasťou práce je teoretický prehľad paliatívnej starostlivosti a jej významu, ako aj konkrétnych fyzioterapeutických metód a techník, ktoré môžu podporiť fyzické, psychické a sociálne potreby pacientok. Na základe praktického výskumu sa hodnotí efektivita vybraných intervencií a ich vplyv na celkový komfort pacientok. Práca zdôrazňuje interdisciplinárny prístup a význam spolupráce medzi fyzioterapeutmi, onkológmi a ostatnými členmi paliatívneho tímu.This diploma thesis deals with the role of physiotherapy in palliative care for patients with breast cancer. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the possibilities and benefits of physiotherapy interventions in alleviating the symptoms associated with the disease and its treatment, such as pain, swelling (lymphedema), limited mobility and a reduced quality of life. The work includes a theoretical overview of palliative care and its importance, as well as specific physiotherapy methods and techniques that can support the physical, psychological and social needs of patients. Based on practical research, the effectiveness of selected interventions and their impact on the overall comfort of patients are evaluated. The work emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach and the importance of collaboration between physiotherapists, oncologists and other members of the palliative team.

The aim of the thesis is to identify incorrect movement patterns that lead to overloading, injuries, or dysfunction of specific body segments during daily activities and propose effective physiotherapeutic procedures for their correction. The thesis is based on theoretical knowledge in the fields of functional anatomy, biomechanics of movement, and physiotherapeutic techniques such as soft tissue techniques, corrective exercises, and proprioceptive methods. Based on the analysis of available studies and practical experiences, a therapeutic exercise unit will be proposed, which will be applied to patient case studies. The results will allow for a comparison of the effectiveness of the physiotherapeutic methods in improving movement patterns and their impact on the monitored parameters. The theoretical part will describe in detail the individual structures of the body, such as bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendons, and their mutual interaction during movement. An important aspect is also the explanation of the biomechanics of movement, which includes principles of proper movement execution, such as muscle activation, center of gravity, and balance. It will also be clarified how incorrect movements and overloading can lead to injuries or functional disorders. Within the physiotherapeutic techniques, soft tissue techniques, which include massages, mobilizations, and manipulations, will be elaborated in detail, as well as corrective exercises aimed at strengthening and improving flexibility, which are crucial for correcting incorrect movement patterns. Proprioceptive methods, which help restore proper proprioception and coordination, will also be one of the key topics in the practical part of the thesis. In the conclusion, the impact of the applied physiotherapeutic methods on improving movement patterns and preventing injuries will be evaluated, providing a detailed view of the effectiveness of the proposed therapies.
