This thesis presents heat - energy use of mining groundwater. In the first chapter, potential use of geothermal and mine water is described. This chapter is focused on geothermal energy and mine water as a overall. The second chapter focused on technical facilities that should be considered when assessing the potential of mine water. The next chapter describes the current use of mine water in the territory of Upper Nitra. The next chapter, in which we present more practical knowledge, proposes a sytem of using mining watter in energy central using heat pumps. And it is all in the heat plant by using heat pumps. The thesis evaluates the unuses heat potential of mining water, whitchis important to mention economical as well as environmental positive impact.
