The aim of submitted diploma thesis is to make landscape-ecological bases for spatial planning documentation of Rimavská Sobota. The landscape-ecological bases include the complex analysis of selected rural communities of city Rimavská Sobota, which are located in north of its cadaster area, with focusing on valuable landscape-ecological and landscape-aesthetical elements and phenomena. Integral part of the output is the evaluation of characteristic landscape appearance, the evaluation of ecological stability, reviewing the current condition of elements of local territorial system of ecological stability (L-TSES), reviewing the existing common facilities and measures of the projects of land consolidation (PLC) and recreational infrastructure in studying area. The proposals of regulative measures and recommendations for designing the greenways in landscape arise from necessity to supplement the L-TSES and common facilities and measures of PLC for purpose to increase the ecological stability, connectivity, to decrease the risk of soil erosion, and, last but not least, from necessity to supplement the missing recreational infrastructure. The proposals for increase recreational attractiveness will be in accordance with terms of The Conservation of Nature and of Landscape Act. Landscape-ecological regulative measures, recommended for spatial plan of Rimavská Sobota, will assecurate optimal landscape utilization, increase of ecological stability and finally they should to encourage the increase of visit rate by tourists in studying area.
